Come and see this class
The Little Ones room is the calmest in the school. During settling-in week a parent sits with us in class for the first three days; the time apart grows a little each day. We take the child’s sleep and meal times at enrolment and keep that rhythm for the first month.
How does the day go?
Mornings start with sensory play using rice, water, sand and dough, followed by circle time with songs. Naps are in their own bed with their own blanket. We start toilet training together with the family when the child is ready.
What do we focus on?
At this age, learning comes through trust. That is why the class has at most 10 children and two teachers, and each child has a clear “own teacher”.
