What parents ask most
From enrolment to the first day, from meals to sick days. If you can’t find your answer, we are one message away.
When does enrolment open?
Enrolment for September opens in March. If places remain, we also take children during the year; we always start with a visit.
What do the fees include?
The monthly fee includes four meals (breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and fruit), all art materials, music and movement lessons and in-school events. Bus and trips are charged separately.
Is there a sibling discount?
Ten per cent for the second child and five per cent for payment in advance.
How does settling-in week work?
For the first three days a parent sits in class with us; after that the time apart grows step by step. We wait until the child is ready; we don’t rush.
Do you have a school bus?
We run buses to Kadıköy, Üsküdar and Ataşehir. Every bus has an escort teacher; vehicles have cameras and location tracking.
Who can pick up my child?
Only the people named on the enrolment form. If someone else is coming, just let us know that day; we check ID.
What happens if my child gets ill?
If a child’s temperature goes above 38 °C we call you straight away and they rest in the sick bay. We ask that they stay home until 24 hours without fever.
What do you do for children with allergies?
We take allergy information at enrolment. Their plate is prepared separately and labelled with their name; the class teacher and cook know the list. You can meet our dietitian one to one.
Is there a nurse at school?
Our school nurse is in two days a week; on other days all teachers hold first aid certificates.
Which curriculum do you follow?
We build on the national early-years curriculum and enrich it with play, nature and art. We don’t use worksheets.
Do you teach a foreign language?
From age four, English through play three times a week: songs, stories and daily routines.
How can I follow my child’s development?
A short photo note every evening, a parents’ meeting every month and the development file in a one-to-one meeting at the end of term.
